Rys Consulting Best Model©  A leader is mission driven and acts from a position of optimal effectiveness:  “at our best”.  A leader is mission driven and flexible to the needs of her team to help achieve the directive at hand. A leader’s manchessbehavior is not ruled by the transitory ebb and flow of his emotions
but learns to manage and utilize his thoughts and emotions in order to obtain an outcome that is consistent with who she is when she is at her best.  The path to achieving a lasting desired outcome is rooted in and guided by the leader’s best attributes.  And this determines the leader’s direction.  This is the difference between true leadership and fleeting emotions of mood, daydream and automatic behaviors.

A good leader and team player knows that we are all possess habitual patterns of thoughts, feelings and behavior that may not always be compatible with the effective leadership.  A team leader recognizes this reality by constantly monitoring and re-directing himself and his team back to who they are, who we are, when we are at our best.  This is authenticity.  This is integrity.  This is the difference between transitory and lasting results.
